Out of this World
While restricting myself to stay within the city limits of Amsterdam I photographed these alien looking landscapes.
he photo series ‘My Bare Amsterdam’ arose from ‘exploration trips’ in my own environment. Although I did not cross the city limits of Amsterdam I was able to capture these ‘alien’ landscapes that give an impression as if they are out of this world.
Although these scenes refer to some dystopian future, most of these sites don’t exist anymore because of city development. Therefore the series also offers a view on the last open spaces in Amsterdam.
